Over/Under 3.5 Goals Method

Occasionally you'll see a game where you think there may be goals, but not too many of them! Under 1.5 Goals is not an option as you feel there may be a couple. Under 2.5 is risky and as you're trading with a stop-loss, you may need to get out more often than not for a loss on this market. The Under 4.5 Goals market is a little too high.

For games like this, the Over/Under 3.5 Goals market is perfect. It's a game where you think there may be goals, but not four of them! Odds tend to be relatively low, and qualifying games will often be available between 2.5 and 4 to lay Over 3.5 Goals.

An example of this type of game is below. It's between Chelsea and CSKA Moscow in the Champions League. CSKA are doing well in the group and have won their last two games. Chelsea are at home so the market is expecting an open game with plenty of goals. As such, the odds to lay Over 3.5 Goals were available at 2.66 and this is the perfect game for this strategy. If Chelsea do score a couple of early goals, we haven't got a huge amount of risk.

This market will often end up profitable if used correctly. However, it can be dangerous as often goals are scored late on as a game opens up a bit and players tire. It's very important to close this market and trade out as soon as possible. Even if it's 0-0 at half time, don't be tempted to stay in as you WILL lose time and time again. Take the money and close it down!
